How to start your watch for the first time: If your watch has stopped completely, it is recommended to wind the mainspring manually by turning the crown.

  1. Unlock the crown by turning it counterclockwise until the crown separates from the case
  2. Slowly turn the crown clockwise to wind the mainspring. The clockwork should wind up completely after 40 revolutions.
  3. Lock the crown by turning it clockwise while pushing it.

Setting the day and date:

  1. Pull the crown slightly, the second hand should continue to move.
  2. Turn the crown up for the day, down for the date.
  3. Important: Never change the day and date between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. to avoid damage to the movement.
